COLUMBUS AVENUE
BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
We are the Columbus Avenue Business Improvement District (BID).
Founded in 1999, the Columbus Avenue BID is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization working to maintain and enhance the heart of the Upper West Side for residents, merchants, and visitors alike.
We are dedicated to making Columbus Avenue and the Upper West Side a great place to live, work, shop, and do business. We focus our efforts on supplemental sanitation, the beautification of public spaces, and the promotion and marketing of the area’s diverse business and cultural offerings. The Columbus Avenue BID aims to act as a catalyst, working with business, community, and city partners, to promote positive change on Columbus Avenue.
